CHILE – Top things to do in Santiago de Chile if you have just a day

Chile - Santiago de Chile
Chile - Santiago de Chile

My visit to Santiago de Chile was part of a business & leisure trip to Sao Paulo and Easter Island. It has been a dream from a long time to visit Easter Island and to get there I had to stop in Santiago de Chile so I decided to make a one day tour of this capital city. This short summary is a copy of a blog I wrote prior to CTB Global. My apologies for being brief.

Santiago de Chile

To explore Santiago de Chile a day will do. I recommend hopping from place to place with a taxi as it can get very hot.

I visited the following places of interest: Parque Metropolitano, Plaza De Armas, La Chascona, Cathedral and some other buildings.

At the end of the day I visited Vineyard di Diablo which is a premium vineyard in Chile and for sure can compete with the vineyards of Mendoza, Argentina. I for sure will return to Santiago de Chile as it’s a major airport hub and I’ll probably fly from there one day to Tahiti, Cook Islands and onward to New Zealand.
