Vietnam is a long and narrow country in South East Asia. It borders Cambodia, Laos and China. Its history is one of war and rebellion. Remains of the US war history can be seen in the capital Ho Chi Min but also along the DMZ in central Vietnam. The French colonization also put a stamp on the architecture in the major cities. In central Vietnam are several remains of the old Cham Empire. It’s also home to beautiful white beaches, jungles and beautiful rice paddies along the Mekong Delta. Remote hill tribes can be found in the far north and lower western central Vietnam. Vietnam is a country that I recommend everyone to visit. Read about my adventures in Vietnam in the stories below.
